I hope there's a tech guru out there who can give me some ideas how to fix a website loading problem...

Recently-ish, I've not been able to load some websites, doesn't matter which browser I use, I've tried most of the simple "fixes" which don't fix it. I thought it might have something to do with still using Win10, so I spent all day doing backups and saves and stuff and then updated to Win11, which didn't make a bit of difference.

This is all happening on my desktop computer, which is hard wired to the router (ethernet). I've reset the router, too. I use Firefox, but have the same problems with MS Edge, so I don't think it's browser specific...

Now, my nice shiny new Win11 laptop which connects via wi-fi has no trouble loading any websites at all.

And these are websites that should load nicely -- one is my brokerage.

Help?

I am no longer up to date on Windows computers, but if you do a websearch on “ older windows 11 computer browser will not load webpages” there are several videos and discussion forum posts which might help.

Thanks, I did look for ideas out there on the internets, but no luck.
